Types of Needles

These are typically seen in movies. They are great for making panels and blankets

These are knitting needles that have points at both ends. They are typically used for knitting projects that are worked in the round, such as socks, hats, mittens, and sleeves.

Can be used for panels as well as circular objects. They can be used for socks as well. some of these needles have the cable built in but others have interchangable needles.

Crochet hooks are used for anything you want. You can crochet in the round, make plushies, make panels, and chains. I personally like crochet hooks better.

The pillow isnt really a tool but it is needed when making bobbin lace. It is there to keep it in place.

When making bobbin lack you need atleast 10 different yarn strands. These Bobbins help move the yarn and allows the maker to pin them down.

The Hoop is there to keep the fabric in place as well as provide tension for the needle to poke through.

The needle looks like a sewing needle because it is. All it has is a thicker hoop to allow the thread to go through.
